William “Ellis” Baltz

Ellis Baltz was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History. While an undergrad at U.T., he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta pre-law society. 

Ellis graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. During his first summer of law school Ellis worked for the Nashville law firm of Aubrey Givens and Associates, PLLC in Nashville. In Knoxville, Ellis became a student attorney for the University of Tennessee College of Law Advocacy Clinic representing clients in a number of matters including housing, criminal, and juvenile court. Ellis received the 2015 University of Tennessee Legal Clinic Distinguished Student Attorney Award. During his final year of law school, Ellis received an externship with the Office of the District Attorney General in Knox County and was assigned to the DUI trial unit where he gained experience in conducting jury trials. He was subsequently hired by the Knox County District Attorney as a law clerk and was assigned to the DUI general sessions unit. 

Ellis was admitted to the Tennessee bar in November of 2015. Ellis primarily practice juvenile law, family law, divorce, DUI, and criminal law.
